From Valerie Bertinelli’s comments, it sounds like this mutual cheating went on for so long that now they can’t even agree on which one of them cheated first.
Because of the mutual aspect and because there was no public scandal, Eddie inly score a 3 on the cuckold scale.
It could be Valerie Bertinelli who cheated on him first and perhaps Eddie Van Halen justified for what she did.
