Salvatore Volpe, the cuckolded mobster

A couple of months a go the Daily Mail ran a remarkable article on Salvatore Volpe, a low-level Bonanno family associate. He told a court in New York he accepted $50,000 from a restaurateur who impregnated his wife, in exchange for not killing him. Can you believe that? Fucking the wife of a Mafia guy? Making her pregnant? Jeez... Anyways, Salvatore apparently could live with the ultimate humiliation of everybody knowing that his wife had been fucking around on him, in exchange for money. According to the Daily Mail, Volpe, who works as a plumber, only discovered his wife had an affair with the owner of Trattoria Romana, Staten Island, when she fell pregnant. She initially tried to pretend it was his baby, he told Brooklyn Federal Court. He claimed that when he found out the truth, he broke up with his wife then went straight to his crew boss, John Palazzolo, who sent three Bonanno gangsters to confront the owner. But in the end it was settled in exchange for money.
For that bravery Salvatore gets 8 point on the cuckold scale.
